Finally getting my butt into gear!

Okay, so it's been months since i started my blog and am only now finding/making time to get it up and running!  Call it fear of the unknown!  i'm not really very blog savvy so please bare with me.  i'm PLANNING on getting an album etc up and running over the next month (once i figure out how!).  if anyone out there in cyberland can offer some assistance i would REALLY  appreciate it!

Anyway, blogging is just one of the many changes i am hoping to make changes in for myself in the coming months.  i'll try my best to keep you all updated on some of the other stuff as i am comfortable.

So to kick off my blogging i thought i would post one of my layouts (call it a learning experience!)  this is page with my youngest son Adam and was designed for Embellished.  i used the new Basic Grey Marrachek range.  i have really grown to love this range! 

Welcome to my blog!!

Wow I can't believe it, I'm finally finding myself with time to actually kick off my blog!  Things have been very chaotic over the past few weeks with school holidays, Stephen working out of town, me trying to complete pages and projects for Embellished, not to mention that we are going away on holidays at the Gold Coast for a week.  Brother, no wonder I'm tired!

So let me give you a brief rundown of who I am.

I have been married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Stephen, for nearly 16 years.  We have 6 beautiful children, Jacob, Sariah, Isaac, Adam, Hannah and Rebecca.  They range from 3 years to 15 years.  I enjoy spending time with my family, scrapbooking, painting, renovating, patchworking and heaps more.  I am on the design team for embellished.com.au which is a fabulous scrapbooking shoppe in Rockhampton.  I really enjoy designing and teaching there.  The girls there are wonderful and I'm truely enjoying myself.

I recently entered the Scrapbooking Memories Masters competition and am thrilled that I have been shortlisted into the Top 50.  I won't know if I've made it into the Top 10 until I think mid November, but even then I wouldn't be able to say anything until December.  I keep my fingers and toes crossed that I'll make it through, but if I don't I'm proud of the fact that I made it through as far as I did.

Well I'm feeling rather pooped and better head off to bed.  I'll HOPEFULLY check back in and make improvements to my blog soon.  Thanks for tuning in!!!
